I think I'm going to shift my focus more to soccer. I've played soccer since 1996 until two years ago and I think quitting really made me more depressed and definitely made me gain serious weight. I think playing again will make me happier and fitter. And being fit fir soccer means I should be able to run the five k so it fits with out plan

I want to do long runs but also days of interval workouts and more soccer conditioning. I also need to eat better and cut down on junkfood. I'm doing better with not sleeping the day and I have a lot of added stress this year with school but I'm feeling okay about it.

Injury wise I know a lot of the pain of my knees and hips are due to the weight gain and as I hopefully lose weight it should lessen. That being said I do have a lot of repetitive motion injuries in my knees and ankles from sports but I've had them a long time and they shouldn't impact working out anymore than they used to. The only major issue I have is that my kneecap sometimes moves around because I fractured it three years ago. I also have a condition where the tendon under NY knees pulls on the bone and causes pain and swelling. But I've dug out my old braces and it doesn't cause damage its just painful so I'm confident it'll be fine. Im going to try and get into the uconn gym to do machine workouts once a week because they're cushioned and very easy on my knees. Running on grass or a rubber track also helps k Res for anyone else with knee pain because the impact of your foot on asphalt contributes to the ache.

trick or treat :D

1 ★ Create a graphic (200 x 200 max size) to represent your personal "candy". It should have your username on it, but otherwise can feature whatever you want. Make it something special since it's self-representative.

2 ★ Make a post with the subject "trick or treat?". Put your "candy" somewhere in it, and be sure to repost these instructions.

3 ★ Then, go around other people's LJs and reply to them with either "trick" or "treat." If you reply with "trick," they will give you an LJ/DW/Twitter/tumblr dare that you have to perform before taking their candy. If you're too wimpy for that, simply say "treat" and take their candy. (See example here)

4 ★ List all your collected candies in your original "trick or treat?" post to show off your collection.
